"Pied-à-terre" is located above a small neighborhood grocery. This second floor unit provides a one-of-a- kind experience with its character charm. Large floor plan with plenty of space and cozy nooks to enjoy local coffee or a bit of bourbon after the day of exploring. We provide a self check-in experience for guests. Making your stay as seamless as possible. The key will be located in a lock box for you to use throughout the duration of your stay. There is off street parking located in front of the unit. Also, free street parking for additional cars. We live nearby and are always available to answer any questions you may have during your stay! Nestled in the Kenwick Neighborhood. Only a 5 minute drive to downtown. The neighborhood holds historic charm from it's ordination of being a part of the Ashland Estate also known as Henry Clay Estate. The beautiful estate is just a 10 min walk from "pied-à-terre." Located just around the corner is a community-based coffee shop and wine bar called Kenwick Table. Perfect place to enjoy a drink while listening to live music on most weekend nights! Several local restaurants are also in walking distance of the “pied-à-terre.” Wilsons Grocery located below "Pied-à-terre". The grocery hours are 10am- 5.30pm Tuesday - Saturday. Please keep in mind it is a building that was built in the 1900's sometimes you can hear noise from the shop during the day. We provide noise machines for your comfort if sleeping during shop hours. Two bedroom one bath character - filled abode. This space is bathed in sunlight, historic charm and plenty spacious for your getaway in Lexington, KY. Very neat spot in Kenwick. We had a great stay and would recommend!
Our stay was everything we hoped for. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and quite enjoyed all of the locals walking dogs all the time. Just made it feel more home like. The condo was larger than expected and the beds were comfortable. The bakery/store was open with appropriate hours and we never heard any noise coming from them. Very cute store to have breakfast staples, coffee, and muffins! We stayed here to be close to the Kentucky horse park and it was about 20 minutes away which was perfect. Oh and dont forget to try LX BBQ right down the street. You could smell it for blocks and definitely a must stop in if you are staying here. Hope to be back next year!!!
Space was clean, beds comfortable. Great coffee shop around the corner. Neighborhood grocery store below which is nice. Family oriented neighborhood with lots of families out and about. Would come back.
