The dome provides a unique, open concept layout for your stay. There are two beds, one on the main floor and the other up above in a cozy sleeping nook accessible by ladder. **4WD VEHICLES REQUIRED - USE CAUTION** We want ensure that all guests who book this space are prepared and safe when driving to the dome. Please note that the road to the property is gravel and contains steep hills, curvy turns, and is narrow (please drive slow and use caution). The drive to the dome is beautiful and the property is secluded and quiet. This was a great deal! It was sooo lovely to come back to a nice clean space that was still in nature after a long day of hiking and relax and have a fire and get in the hot tub. The host was very communicative and attentive. Would recommend! Driver’s note: We could definitely see why it said to have a 4WD vehicle, but our manual 2014 Honda Civic made it. The last stretch we would have bottomed out/and or hit a tree on the left, but there was a parking space at the bottom of the dome we utilized and it was a short remaining walk up to ours. The main difficulty on the way out were steep gravel upslopes, but in first gear with traction control kicking in at times, we made it in and out multiple times. ( : If coming in a car, this is doable, but not for the faint of heart. We had a blast! Thank you for the stay!
Super great place to stay for a nature getaway! Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Actual dome was very cozy, decorated nicely & clean, and stayed cool even during hot days. Host was friendly and helpful. The backroad gravel drive to the dome can be a little intimidating, but the hosts provided great instructions that made it very easy to find the location. What a wonderful trip! 😄
My friends and I really enjoyed our weekend here! The location is beautiful and the dome was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We communicated with Allen & team about one small issue and they were super prompt to respond and went the extra mile. Please do make sure you are in a 4-wheel drive vehicle (which they tell you)— it is absolutely necessary. Would love to return to The Climber dome again!
